This week I vote we EMBRACE change.  Change is a funny little monster – so good in retrospect yet so often painful and unnerving as you move through it.  I, for one, would really like it if I only ever had to make one decision about things and could live in a completely secure life situation with no opportunity for disaster.  That has SO absolutely NOT been the story of my life!  I feel like I’ve lived 4 entirely different lives - and I’m only in my early 30’s!  Whew…

As cliche as it might sound, I am actually grateful for all that I have experienced as it is what has made me, me.  Or, one might argue, MiE.  ;>  I’m really not sure that I would be even half as happy if I had experienced that simple path we all think everyone else but us is experiencing.  I’ve made mistakes (some serious doozies!), created successes (and plenty of failures), had very happy times, very miserable times, and yet the one thing that has been constant is, ironically enough, change.  

If you think about it, isn’t it a terrific thing to know that wherever we are today is just the beginning – that we can create anything we want in life… through change?  I’ve got to add one more quote to this effect:

I’m pretty sure you ladies got the idea, but during the FEMME session as we celebrated just how darn awesome it is to be a woman – I like to make sure and emphasize that is nothing negative toward men.  We are simply fabulous and should rightfully enjoy every moment of that fact!  I love how the quote above describes the beauty and harmony that can exist between men and women.  That, in fact, is at the center of my passion for helping women gain confidence.  Being happy & secure in who we are gives us so many healthy choices.  And, whatever you choose, I wish you happiness. : )

X-Pole just switched things up – this is so recent that THEY haven’t even updated their website yet!  After being the top pole in the industry for the past 5 years they decided to make their poles even better.   They no longer sell their old pole, but instead they have 2 newly redesigned models: the X-Pert & the X-Sport.  The standard size (like we have at the studio) is 50mm.  They both also come in 45mm (a little smaller) for the same price.  All will be ordered at 50mm unless you make a special request.

These poles won’t be here until the end of the month, but if you order (and pay for) your pole during the month of February I’m gonna offer you a special deal.   As a dealer, I’m not allowed to sell them for any less than their regular price and these stinkers are so popular they routinely sell out so they never offer discounts ~ ANYWHERE.  BUT, where they usually charge $40 for S/H… I can beat their overall price for ya!  That’ll save you an extra $15-$20 per pole!

 

 

One of my favorite affirmations is from one of our pole instructors, Dawn: “I am strong enough to be vulnerable.”  It really is true that there is a lot of strength required in vulnerability.  But, the risk is so worth the reward… n’est pas?
